Our Approach

Just after the ribbon cutting ceremony on 27th October 2018 at Mango Lodge, The Green Team and Jimmy with MP Ted Sorensen.

It was a terrific day and we had a big party afterwards.

A lot of hard work went into creating this piece of paradise here on the Fraser Coast.

The drones flying overhead upset the Sea Hawks that have been nesting in the huge Ironbark tree opposite the windmill.

Special thanks to everyone who came along and to Dave for playing the guitar so beautifully.

There are some special videos of my "Cousin It" dance routines later in the night.

A lot of love and attention to detail has gone into the creation of Mango Lodge.

Having a background as a Caregiver, I realised the importance of providing a tranquil holiday place, not only for the person with a disability but also for the Carer.

An important piece of the creation was the open-air bath so the Caregiver has somewhere to relax and unwind.  This could also be a partner or parent.  There is always someone out there that needs a break away from everything and to just sit and relax and soak away your troubles while enjoying the peaceful serenity of the bushland setting, ahhh bliss.

Also a terrific romantic getaway.
