Bird watchers paradise with over 62 species identified in the Park so far. The Fraser Coast boasts over 280 species of birds, of these 24 are listed as vulnerable or endangered.
Some of our guests who are avid bird watchers have really encountered thrilling moments with 1 guest gushing about watching the Swamp Hens chasing away a big lizard from their nest adjacent to the 40 acre nature reserve on the property.
Another guest marvelled at seeing the brilliant blue of the Sacred Kingfisher above the natural billabong near Mango Lodge.
